My BF has been clean for almost 2 years. He has been out of sober living since feb. We have 4 kids and one on the way. I know our home life is overwhelming with all the chaos. Im stressed out and I never used. But when he gets tired, angry or upset he screams and throws stuff. I am not worried that he would hurt any of us but it scares the life out of the kids. I do not want the to live a life like that. I know he hasn't dealt with emotions or feeling in 11 yrs and he is slowly learning how to again. He lost his mom last year and hasn't dealt with that yet either. I just don't know what to do or how to handle it.Im tired of my dtuff being broken and the kids are scared he is going to fly off the handle with them at any given moment. Any advice would help please!! I'm at the point where I am going to ask him to move out.
You know this can be very detrimental to you and your children's health.
Having him leave would be a consequence for his behavior and that would be a good discussion to have with the children after he leaves if you can get him to leave. How old are the kids?
Not that it matters because even if they were infants or 3months to a year...we have no idea what fear they feel because they can't talk :(
I'm sorry you are going thru...I lived with violence for 22 years...and my kids are screwed up from it.
