I blew a .30 a couple weeks ago...so he is in serious trouble...and I was also suicidal...so I think the alcohol level has a lot to do with it.
I think you did have a breakdown :(....because saying happy easter when you are in this chaos...is a little out of the norm in my opinion. :).
He will be ok..they got to him...hopefully because it was so drama packed..he will be wanting to not feel like this anymore. This may be a turning point gordo..I hope it is for you and your son.
Easter doesn't matter...I'm not going to say happy easter..I'm going to say....I will pray for you and your son and your husband and family...and hope that NEXT EASTER....things are not like this....I hate addiction.
Hate it!
I have them all the time...or I can't sleep for some reason (more than usual) and then something ends up going on.
A couple of weeks ago I was extremely anxious and couldn't sleep..and it was WAY worse than my usual not being able to sleep..so while I was awake - my b/f's Mom called and wanted to go to hospital she didn't feel well...she is 86...I love this woman..so I knew right then that SHE was the reason I was so anxious that night.
And its an awful thing to KNOW that your gut is telling you something because you have to WAIT until it materializes and in the meantime we are NUTS.
Happy Easter...and best of luck to Brody! (nice name) :)
I hope this will be his bottom and he will be getting some help. My son had to do a medical detox, and suspect your son may need it too.
Alcohol is such a depressant. Yes, I had those gut feelings too....many of us have..it just adds to our anxiety since we can't stop them from their self destructive behavior. Oh, and I am sending you a message as well.
I hope you will let us know how he is doing...and I will say a prayer for him and your family today.
My husband has to leave Lincoln today & our son is still being evaluated by the psychiatrists. I hope & pray to God that they don't just "let him out". We have been through this before, not quite as serious, but they let him go before. They reminded us that there is nothing we can do unless & until he seeks help himself. I am just terrified that he will hurt himself or someone else before that happens. I wish we weren't at the other end of the state. I feel helpless. I pray God & Jesus look after him.
If the kids are drunk...
But because I am always right...lol..
There is no way 1.8 is possible...I know a lot about this topic...and after point 30...a person can be comatose...So your son was .18 which is 3x legal limit and dangerous..
But no way...1.8 or he would be legally dead.
Why does the level matter?
What matters is the condition he was in and the help he is willing to take.
Your son was/is in a bad way and needs help.
I'm hoping and praying for your son that he gets the help he needs!
Big hugs
I will pray for you and your son daily!May God bring you peace and strength and lift up His precious child.
Our Father please raise up Brody out of this addiction.Only you know everything he needs Lord.I ask that you remove this affliction from him and bring him back to good health.I also ask that you give Mom and family peace and rest in their souls, cover this family with love and joy Lord,May they look to you to lift these burdens. In Jesus name I pray.Amen
