My friends I am going through such a tough time the last few days and I feel like I am totally losing control of my life once again. My daughter messed up and this time in a BIG way. My grandson's father went back to court and got emergency custody again and I agree he should have he is a wonderful father and his first priority is his son, we also have a good relationship. My daughter is in total denial that she has any kind of problem and as soon as she found out he was coming for Chace she ran to go see her therapist. Long story short she is now in the hospital again but this time it is someplace she has never been before. When I went to go drop off clothes the nurse asked my why she was on all the medication she was on and who perscribes it, I told her and she couldn't believe it, I told her my daughter can con even her doctor's. I told them I didn't want to see my daughter but to tell her I loved her and I was ging away for a few days, I am at my sister's but nobody knows where I am only the people who need to know.
I have decided not to let Krista come back home this time she need's much more help then I can give her and I am making myself sick trying. I know I am going to need alot of strength to do this that is why I am at my sister's because I know she will support me, but I am asking for help and prayers from you, my friends. Please keep us in your prayers ans send some strength my way, I need all I can get. I have to stand firm this time and I intend to, Please pray for us.

You have taken the first big step toward YOUR recovery: you have accepted that you are powerless over your daughter's addiction, and that you can't cure it or control it. It may not feel like something you should be congratulated for right now, but it really, really is. So...congratulations! Guilt may gnaw at you for some time because it may feel like you have abandoned her and withdrawn your support from her, but, in reality, you are the doing the absolutely best thing for her-- and for you--by stopping the vicious cycle of enabling. You have shown a lot of strength and courage in deciding not to let her move back to your home, which puts the ball in her court as far as facing reality is concerned. It is wonderful that your grandson's father is capable of taking over the parenting responsibilities so you don't have to worry about your GS's well-being while your daughter's away. I'm glad you have an ally in him. I am so proud of you for taking this huge, huge step and wish you all the best in this difficult road to recovery. Good luck, stay strong and God bless.

Thank you Blue and Kim I don't have to explain to you how much pain I am in right now, my heart is broken and I am so afraid that I will never get my daughter back, she really was my best friend. I know I have to be strong but this is almost unbearable.On the positive side I am going to spend the day with my grandson tomorrow, he brings so much joy to my life, I can't wait to just get him in my arms,

pat,,,, oh girl I feel your pain,,,, if I can do this,, anyone can,,, for I was the weekest link,,, shoot I use to give my dog a bone, after she went in the garbage,, cause I felt sorry for yelling at her,,,, you came to your rock bottom,,,, you have done all you can for her,,,, we are not able to fix them,,, we can stand by,, and be the biggest support,,,,
I'll be honest,, this is going to be the hardest thing you will ever do,,, becasue your going to have those week moments,, especially when and she will manipulate you,, makeing you feel guilty,, sorry,, blah,, blah,,,, although addicition is a disease that takes over their mind,,, they do have a choice to use or not to use,,,,, meaning it's thier choice to want the help,,,, this is no longer your problem,,,,, yes i know all about the sickness it brings on,,,,, I made a vow,,, that I would never allow this to consume me to insanity again,,,
has much as its hard to believe,,, this too shall pass,,, be strong,,, and I'm here for you,,,,,

release,,, relax,, recharge,,,, take back your life,,,,, cut the safety net,, it's time she learns to fly on her own,,,,

Cardinal I knew you would be here with words of wisdom, right now I am not accepting any phone calls from her because I know I am not strong enough but I'm going to get there I kno I will I have too for me ansy grandson. I'm going to be looking for you in those trees and if you have any more advice it's always welcome, you to beantown. I know you both have been throught this, so I will take any helpI can get,

I know how hard this must be for you. One of the things that finally helped me to detach was realizing that my daug. might not ever stop using. I knew I could not continue to live as miserable and desparate as I was so I had to make a change. I will pray for strength for you & recovery for your daug.-so glad to hear your grandson has a loving father. Stay strong. Hugs & prayers.

I Hope all your prayers and strength work, my daughter keeps calling me but I haven't answered any of her calls, I did listen to one message though and it brought me to tears. She sounds like her old self I know it's because she's in a controlled enviroment right now but my heart just breaks. This is going to be alot harder than I thought.
