My cocaine addict husband has been clean (or so he says) for almost 5 months. I didn't even know he was using for over two years, so I'm obviously not good at seeing the signs and he was very good at hiding. Anyway, there have been a few things in the last month or so that is giving me a red flag, though he denies, money is not missing from anywhere I can tell, etc. but I'm just getting a sense that things aren't right. Yesterday he went to a college football game where he teaches and came home late - said it was a great game and that they had after-game activities because they won and it's so rare they win........well, today in the paper it said the football team LOST! I asked him about it and he said, "they did?" well, I guess I got the teams mixed up! He said they had a activitiy in the gym honoring the upcoming football players that will graduate. What do I possibly think? We've been working on trust issues big time - ugh. If he's using when I'm suspecting he's using, he's been very mellow and nice after - is that possible? example: yesterday we were shopping and he was grouchy, rude to sales people, irritable............went to the "football game" and when he came home very friendly, sorry, mellow, kind....................I feel like I'm going crazy......
