Thanks to all of you who have been so kind and caring to me the last few days. I have been tore up and tears have been flowing non-stop at work and at home. But today is a good day. My husband and I are driving out to spend the day with our daughter at her new college for parents orientation. They had the freshman arrive on Wednesday and they took them up into the mountains with no means of communication so they could all get to know each other and hopefully forms some bonds or make friends and now the parents get to learn what to expect and say goodbye.... on the subject of Justin we are not telling Jordan for a few more days because she deserves to start her new life without the troubles of her brother on her mind. I myself don't know yet what my plan is going to be. I have two choices. One I let Justin go through the entire process on his own with a public defender and let the chips fall where they may. Or I take the very last of his trust money and hire an attorney who can listen and learn all about Justins illness and addiction and maybe convince a judge to order him to some sort of treatment while serving his sentence. I do not want him to get away with what he did. It was wrong and he should e in jail, but he is also sick and I would like him to have one more chance at recovery. Pretty torn here because every time I have tried to help I have failed so maybe me getting the heck out of his way is what it is going to take to get him better. I have people on both sides of this argument telling me what worked for them so I know that nobody but me is going to have the answer. I am going to have to pray and hope the an answer comes to me... But for this weekend I am putting it away and focusing on the good stuff. I did call the jail and ask to be allowed to bring his medication for him and they agreed. So I did do one good thing for him.. anyway thanks again for being so supportive to me, you saved me again...
