SO, my son unblocked me from his FB so I could view some videos of him playing and singing as he is working as a house musician to get room/board.
So I went on to see how he was doing. He would be singing/playing then go on a crazy rant of 'if you don't like me then...." it was just so bizarre and I realized it was like watching Charlie Sheen when he was having his breakdown. I was so torn up, there where between the line messages that I believe were meant for me and just so much anger.
My husband was amazed as well. Now he knows that his birth father is bi-polar and has known for 3 years now, but even with the full health bennies he has, refuses to get himself checked out for it, THAT could be the basis of why he self medicates so much...BUT refuses to admit or get help.
Watching this just confirmed that he will do, say anything to get the 'sympathy vote'.
It just breaks my heart to watch, so maybe it's time to 'block him' for a change?

I'm sorry you had to see that sort of thing...from your own son. :( That must hurt greatly. I do hope that you don't let it bring you down too much...if he's the one refusing to get help or to admit that there might be something wrong with him...it's not your fault. He knows that there's a chance there's something wrong with him...he's known for 3 years. So, now, it's up to him to go and deal with it.
