I have been going threw it all week my husband relapsed again for the thousandth time. Took of for days missed Valentines day, sold all his work tools again, and spent all our bill money. He came home slept for two days promised never to do it again. Tonight while I am at class he went and used again and spent the little bit of money we started to build again. I am so depressed, I am so tired of ging threw this in my life. We have been married for 10 years I love him but feel helpless and tired of broken promises and being lied to. I pray to God everyday for years to take it away from him but nothing changes. He just got out of treatment, court ordered two months ago and has already violated.

if you love him, report him. they will lock him up and he will have to try again...and if he has done this a thousand times, why does he still have access to ANY of your money? he should not. period
so, what ever you decide to do is up to you, but you cannot let him control things. You must take the most basic steps to look after yourself and your sanity.
I am sorry that you are going through this yet again.
I would also lock up anything else you have left of any value.

Sorry to hear your going through all this turmoil. He needs you to make good decisions now,as he is unable to.A great support meeting for you to go to gain strength is Nar-anon. It helped me so much to stay focused.As Blueviole stated-they will lock him up and he will have to try again. It may be what he needs the most. This addiction circle is serious business.There are so many overdoses going on it's frightening! Prayers for you.........

So sorry for all you're going through. Whether it be a spouse, child or parent, it just really sucks! The feeling of hopelessness and betrayal are horrific. I pray he gets help and I agree, I definitely would not allow him access to the money. Good luck and prayers!

Thank you for your words. The money he makes is from his work I don't work I'm a full time student and getting ready to start my internship to get my bachelors degree. Plus I'm divorced with four boys, I needed to trust him to support our house hold till I can work. He broke that promise to me my life is one big nightmare. I feel like i will never wake up from this.

I can see that your position would be a very scary one.
any money that is in the budget that you can squirrel away, you need to do that. You need to have some sort of an emergency plan. And thank goodness you are going to get your degree...
I always say to hope for the bast and plan for the worst.
