Living Christmas morning through the eyes of a six year old, is priceless, we brought back out the "magic snow prints", cookies and milk was a success,,,, then k came over ( yea,,) interacted with her daughter the way she has done in the past,,, she is working get recovery slowly,, but doing it,,, she is having a hard time getting a job,,, with the issues of her background checks,, I just keep reinforcing that she will find one ,,there were moments when the conversation was intensified,, some lies crept in, but I detached from that and truly enjoy my daughter ,,, I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring,, but for the moment I'm at peace,,,
She has many dreams and goals set,,, I just listened,, I realized that part of her recovery is, taking one step at a time,,, she is not using herion , however she choice the methadone way,,, which I struggle with,,, but learned to step a side,, and let her find her way,,,
She did say that she was so angry with me, that day I stood firm to our boundary,,, today,,, she is greatful and believes that she would still be using,, cause we made life so easy for her,,,

I told her not to make promises to me or her daughter, but has time goes by,,, show us in actions,,,love yourself first,, before us,,,
It was an awsome day,,,,
