Has we approach the end of the year, I sit a dwell on really how far we have come , the many obstacles and challenges we have endured, there were moments when things looked bleak, and hope was put on the back burner,,, but with my ability to always find something good, in bad situation paid off,,, I may not be where I want to just yet, but with coming of a new year,, a lot farther then I was,,,,
Hope now has become an everyday word,,, and learning to find a solution instead of indulging in the problem seems to work for us ,,, learning to set boundaries not just for my addict but the rest of my household, has truly made a peacful household,, my family now knows, what I mean,, when I talk,, I've learn to confront an issue ,, and deffinetly not sweat the small stuff,,, I may not be rich, or the most beautiful person, Learned from my mistakes,,, but I've come to respect myself, and through God's given Grace, the capability to conquer anything

To all my friends ,, don't just dwell on the hardships of the past, but see the blessings we all have,,, addiction will be part of most of us for the rest of our lives,,,, but hopefully the use of drugs can be arrested,,I look at my circumstances has a learning experiences ,, and have started sharing with other parents , that life does not end when we become parents of an addict,,,, we did not create, nor can we fix our sick children,, we can only love unconditionally and never give up,,,,
My favorite visual effect,, is when mother bird nudges her baby out if the nest,,, to learn how to fly,,, never once does she accompany that little one on his flight,,, she watches, and encourages, but allows that bird to make it on his own ,,, patience is the key,,, cuddling suffocates,, oh have I learned that!!!
