Hi Iancia I'm sorry you are going through this . I'm sure it is beyond difficult. I don't think I really have any advice for finding her other than what you have probably already thought of or tried . If it was me and I knew roughly whet area she may be near I would take her photo and go there and ask around. Are you sure none of her friends know anything ? I guess you could hire a private investigator not sure if they would even be able to turn up anything . Sadly the culture of drug users often is very off the grid. If you did find her other than piece of mind knowing she's alive I doubt she is willing to do anything in regard to getting help at this point. People usually don't want to be found in these cases. If I recall correctly I think you posted that she was with some guy you didn't like when she initially went missing? I hope I'm not confusing you with someone else on that if I am I apologize. I will pray for you that you get some kind of news that she is ok . Hugs Dee

I was just visiting my cousin, and his son was missing for years...he was homeless and doing some drugs, but not addicted...and he said he loved being homeless with no responsibility,...one day his brother was in that town for a conference, and sat outside, and saw him ride by on a bike....They had searched for him many times...

so I have no advice, but I do want to tell you what my mom told me (my son would only be missing for a few days at a time, but he was high school or under 20 at the time)...
Bad news travels fast.
so if anything was wrong, chances are, you would know right away....And while you are up worrying, (and I was) my son was partying, or passed out and having a fine time.

SO, maybe you just have to decide that she is fine. You will hear from her when she is ready. Our friend Cardinal heard from her missing daughter for Mother's Day or her birthday after about 7 months (wasn't it Deehigs?) THey are probably ashamed....

Happy to report she called Saturday night! I did have to flush her out by posting on facebook and messaging anyone and everyone that I did not know on her facebook. I started this on Thursday and several people said I just talked to her and she will call you. By Saturday I had not heard from her yet so messaged the ones who said they had talked to her and told them On Monday we file a missing person report and anything I have will be turned over to them to do a welfare (safety) check. I am sure you will be contacted. BANG! She calls. Took us a few but we thought who is the last person a druggie wants contact with!!!! Yes indeed the police. She says she now knows she needs inpatient help, she said the detox was like a jail (county ran what else would you expect since that is where they take people). We talk for 40 minutes about it. And here we are Tuesday and no contact. Not ready!
