Hello, I joined several months ago and read the postings daily. I have a daughter who is a heroin addict and what else we have no idea. She has now been convicted of several felonies with new ones pending theft of guns. She got probation on the first ones and never showed up to her intake for probation. The guns shock me since the straight girl does not like guns and never held one of course they were only to be hawked for drug money. We have run out of avenues to turn into the police so they can catch her and lock her up before she is covered up. She messaged a family member a week or so ago and said she is doing really bad. WE as a family have been silent to her for several months; we do not contact her if she want to contact us she knows the numbers. I am wondering if texting her and telling her we still love her BUT she has to step up to the plate and take care of her mess. Or do I just let it be she knows we will be there for her once she does the right things. BTW she got the guns out of our gun safe and we have pressed charges. Just a mom feeling bad, confused and wishing for bottom for her daughter.
