I will try to be breif with the re-cap, but my wife of 10 years had a pain pill addiction behind my back for the last 5 of the first 10 year marriage, I found out about the pills and 3 days later found out about her having an affair, we split, divorced, and did 50/50 with our son 2 and daughter 5 at the time. I always beleived that if I could get her off the pills things could be forgiven and our family could get back toghether, she finally got in trouble at work while we were divorce, had to get straight, and we reconciled about a year after the first divorce was final, and remarried about a year and half after the first divorce was final.

Before we remarried she swore she was finished with the pills, but within a week fo her moving back into our home I found empty bottles, we remarried in June, by November she had OD'd at work and was admitted to rehab. She was there 40 days, came home for 2 weeks, and said she didn't want to be married, prompting the start of our second divorce in Feb of this year.

She is/was and RN, she was placed on probation with mandatory drug testing for 2 years after the rehab, which she quit doing 4-5 months after leaving rehab, and she lost custody at the temporary court hearing to me because of that. Now, today, she has finally realized that she won't get anything out of going to court again, and she has signed our final decrees, in a few days after I sign and a judge signs I will have permanent primary physical custody and sole legal custody of our son 5 and daughter 7 with child support if she pays.

I foolishly gave her more chances than I should have, she proves time and time again what is important to her, and I wish her well, but finally I can put her at arms length.
