Today is addiction awareness ,,if we all coukd light a candle for those that found their way,,for those still finding their ways,,and for those that lost their way,,, addiction is not predjudce, we can not let it consume us,, and we must stand proud,,, may we all find our higher power ( mine is God) to give us peace ,strength, and comfort to get through, or continue to walk through this crazy journey,,, the hope never dies,, believe,, and fight the fight,,,

Yes, I will light a candle.....not only for my son but for all others affected by this terrible disease of addiction. May God bring them all to the light so that they and their families find freedom from this terrible darkness of addiction.

Thank you for giving me hope and faith that my son will one day find his way to sobriety.

I lit the candle on my front porch that night. In the morning it was still burning. My husband was sitting out there in the day light. he had just gotten home,. I went to my first Al-anon meeting. It was a good day. I'm so grateful. Thanks.
