In my effort to gain more strength in my decision to leave my addict and move on with my life, someone recommended I attend a Landmark Forum. Has anyone attended or known anyone who's attended one of these? I am headed off to day 3 now but am still very suspicious of it. Many things that have been said there lead me to believe it's philosophy goes completely against Al/Nar-anon!
I googled it, and it seems that it is like a cult! not very nice things being said about it. I would be very careful, and look it up online

I found the Landmark Forum to be very much in line with this approach and I also found that it supported some Eastern Philosophies regarding Mental and Spiritual Health... In addition, I didn't find any contradictions with my Christian upbringing...
All in all, the seminar was extremely helpful in dealing with the wounds of the past, my fears of the future and it gave me ability to stay focussed on the present. These are skills that I find helpful in giving me the power to move forward in life with confidence and clear direction.
