Giving birth, raising children has a parent you have these dreams for them, that they will be just has happy as you are,, that no matter what road they choose, you will love them unconditionally , never in your dreams could you imagine that drugs would consume that child's life , it's devastingm, heart breaking, and unbelievable,,, but then I look on thd other side,,, the ones that have the love affair, life of someone they choose,, that are addicts,, my problems seem meaningless , my heart goes our to those that have a spouse as an addict,,, no matter how difficult, heartbreakIng or sad my situation is,,, I still have the one I choose to be part of my life ,, to be my side kick there has my support , to carry me when I feel I can't , to comfort me when I feel empty,,, so what I'm saying is I'm greatful it's my child with thd addiction and not my husband ,, my heart goes out to you that are In that situation ,,I'm praying for all if you ,, strength is just an adjective ,, believe in you,, no one can take that away

Addiction is not prejudice , never blame yourself, you can never control an addict, you can only control you,,, no one can make you happy or sad,, unless you allow it,,,, don't be a door may, be a welcome mat,,,

I wish I had thd power to rid thd dark world of drugs, but I do have thd power to stand up to it,,,

Where there is life,,, there is hope
