My son will turn 25. I didn't think three months ago I would see this day. He is clean tomorrow 50 days. That's 20 more then the past seven. He has a five hour pass from his program on Sat. We will spend it together. Dear God thank you from the bottom of my heart. Prayer helps. Faith.

He's so excited to spend five hours with
Me. I'm more excited. I'm over joyed. I'm a mess. I haven't cried this hard in years. I'm happy. There is hope.

I'm not lucky. I'm blessed. He's alive when I thought he wouldn't be.

I will never give up. He's my son

If he is like my son....he wants something massive and tasty to eat. We started with a sub. And he noticed how pretty the garden looked...
Hug him lots.
So happy. Make sure you tell him how proud of him you are for all his hard work. (positive re enforcement)

I tell him whenever I speak to him I'm proud! And
I am. His voice crackles when I say it. But the other
Night he said Mom I'm proud of me too.

I will get him whatever food he wants. I bet
He picks a burger. And another great sign is he asked
Me to dig out his football jersey and hat for his
Favorite team. Sports was always his thing.

Thank you for cheering us on. Means so much to
Me. No one else really gets it in my world. So I've
Suffered alone mostly.

Congratulations....that's beautiful! Enjoy that precious time with your son. I'm pray every day that my son will get there eventually, but the addict has him and won't let him go. Happy for you...... :)

CONGRATS! I remember that time too, I was all tears...the way down to pick him up, the way back to the house and when we had to bring him back, I couldn't let go!

ENJOY! The 1st thing I did with our son was to bring him straight to the barber! LOL...and had them do a hot shave, he LOVED it!

Aww thanks. I think he really has it this time. He lucked out. His roommate cuts hair.

I love that he gets dressed nice when I visit. I asked him why no t and shorts. He said it makes him feel good being in nice clothes.

He's so darn handsome all cleaned up
