Hello All my friends, I know I have been out of the loop for a little bit, but I just returned from Hong Kong, and extensive business travel.
The week of thanksgiving makes me very anxious because two years ago today is the first day I dropped my son off at detox. It was the scariest time of my life, and much has happened since then. I should say the rollercoaster ride began.
Since that point, I found all of you, cardinal, Katrinka, Blue,bighambuy, Dee, KimPalmer, momof3 and so many others who forever have changed my life. You gave me hope when there was none, you made me keep believing, and most of all your prayers and love warmed my heart when I needed it most. Next week my son will celebrate 9 months sober, he is vibrant, full of life, giving back, and emerging as the young man I once knew.
So Today, I want say to THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my journey. For those of you who are new, never give up hope, keep believing and know that here is where help is FOR YOU. I love you all and may god bless you and your family on this Thanksgiving.

I have many things to be thankful for this year but having my son home and clean and sober is priceless.... Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who have helped me and encouraged me and reminded me of the many things I needed to hear. This website and all of you are a gift from God that I cherish.

I have spent many holidays with my son in jail or rehab, and was grateful then that he was still alive. This year, I will be with my sober son. This year we will all be celebrating that no one lost their house in the storm and that my Aunt lived through her heart attack. I am truely thankful.
Shared joy or pain is all better with friends. I am glad that we are together.
