Thank the Lord, it can be done.
Tonight I was sharing with my mom all about all of you and our society of support. I said "my friends" and she said "where do you meet them?" I said "On the internet" she is 83 next month and pretty savvy, but she was a bit taken a back..."you tell each other about your addicts? how do you keep it private on the internet?" I said "we don't use our names or theirs all the time"...she didn't quite get it...but she loved the success stories I shared and how we all pull together when one of us is suffering.

So glad to hear stories of recovery! They do give me hope!!
I too get strength from this site, though I don't share very much day to day, but it's wonderful to 'see' folks helping each other thru good times and bad.....
