I wish we could export it back to the countries that sent it here. Then all their farmers would lay around NOT producing heroin and lying to their bosses about how much heroin they produced, lol.

Instead of arresting drug runners and dealers, I think when they are caught, we should add an additive to their heroin that makes people violently throw up and monitor that they sell it all.

If I ever run for president, that will be my platform and you guys can vote for me. ;-)

I hear ya Tlc!,,until the Paine of addiction us worse then the pleasure of the drug , your addict has no desire to quit,, my addict (23) daughter is living in a three quarter house,, best thing ever,, but until your son willing goes into rehap,,, do not enable him,, it comes to a point that you either feed them their addiction or you detach,,, sometimes an ultimatum has to be enforced,,, make sure you have your boundaries set in place,,,, no empty threats,,,

You just want to shake them, hug them Every once of yourself is going in different directions,,,, stop and control your actions,, do not respond to the addicts reactions,,,, surrender

TLC2012, AMEN! You just wrote exactly what I'm thinking.

My son (who will be 20 this month) has struggled with various forms of addiction for at least 3 years. Last week he told me he took up heroin recently and got hooked. He's trying to quit with the help of his counselor and hopes to get into a Suboxone program soon.

This drug is pure evil!

Bhamguy for president! The only thing is you are being too kind by just adding something to make them sick I would add something to the dealers/kingpins/drugrunners drugs that would literally tear their heart in half this way they can have the same expierence of a broken heart that we get to have!

I hate heroin, and oxy, and cocaine, and pot, and alcohol...

And "doctors" who will prescribe drugs when they KNOW they are going to be abused (and especially those who only do this to make easy money from it).

And I hate gambling, spending, and borrowing addictions...

And eating disorders, and child abuse and neglect, and codependency...

These addictions or problems have something in common though - they can only start to be addressed when the person gets insight into their problem. Until then, most of what we do to try and help is wasted and only hurts ourselves more.

Love the idea of adding stuff to the drugs to make them throw up, they would do that a few times and make some changes. I'll vote for you! Its sad how drug addiction all can to be. Somewhere I have saved a site on the history of drug addiction.

You go ahead and Vent! and I'm hear saying Yes, yes, and I like to add roxies to that as well. I hate DRUGS too. My good Friend Kim told me to hand my son to God, and I willl tell you it wasn't until I did that I found had clarity and direction back in my life. We are all here, and you and your son are in my prayers.
