trust it's hard,,,, I have no idea where K is,,, don't know what she is doing,,, but,,,,, the only thing I can do is,,, be hopefull,,,,, and I could easily climb in a hole,,, and be a crazy person,,, and drive my family crazy.... but I take a step back,, rexamine,,, what good am I to fight the fight,,, if I can't keep myself sane?,,,,, why should I loose out in the joy that surrounds my life,,, if I am going to let the addicition cloud me with ugly thoughts,,,,,,

it's not about the storm,,, but the ablity to dance in the rain,,,,,,, embrace in your surroundings,,, and instead of worrying about the what if,,,, your son is not using,,, you know where he is,,,,, and for today,, he is fine,,,,,,, be thankfull!!!!

Getting and staying out of our heads is hard, it can be done, but it takes lots of practice. When your obsessing, yell to yourself "Stop" and get your brain focusing on something else.

It's not healthy for you. Katrinka have me the Same advice she is giving you and I will tell you, I did what she said over and over again, until one day I looked myself in the eyes and what I saw was someone consumed. It was at that moment I did everything I could to take back my life. I know you hate this my friend, but its time you take control and don't let this monster take your spirit. i know the feeling all too well and the worrying but it isn't going to help....stay busy doing something you love...anything to get yourself away from those thoughts....like cardinal said....whether we worry or not...it's out of our control....all we can do is live each day the best we can ....one day at a time..prayers and hugs my friend

Dee I understand how you feel, I am almost always suspicious of my daughter, it seems so natural, it's all I have known for so long. The other day i thougt she looked a little funny and i told her, she got angry but I explained why I feel the way I do sometimes. If I have doubt's I'm not going to keep quiet anymore, if she has nothing to hide just tell me and that will be the end of it. If on the other hand I can prove my doubt's she know's the consequence and she will have to live with them, end of story. I'm done fooling around and she know it this time.
