you are so right, i have many wonderful things in my life to be grateful for, great kids, angelic friends, a job that means something to me, no great financial empire, but a comfortable lifestyle i am content with and a support system to help me grow in the face of an impossibly tragic situation.
sometimes i too become overwhelmed when reading these posts, sometimes moved to tears for the suffering of others, and some times just hopeless. but i look at it like this..... the support and stories here keep me on my toes, remind me to take care of myself and leave prince charming to take care of his own stuff. this site seems to have been the place i received my permission to let go. i am grateful to every one here.
I agree I have a lot to be thankful for, a home, a job, great kids, I'm sure there are others out there much worst off then me.
