Maybe one day we will have peace and serenity in our lives and won't feel the need to look. Maybe one day we won't even care, who knows.
So much for 'happy' christmas.
Will only be happy if WE make it happy I guess.
Best of luck for a good boxing day. x
I have not had many opportunities to go through his phone since he left 7 months ago and I felt God opened a window of opportunity b/c of the suffering I have been experiencing. I now know for sure I cannot allow Bill one moment of opportunity to try to manipulate me back into a relationship with him. I did always trust him most of our marriage and he trusted me but when both parties are Bipolar, one is stable and the other is not which is now, me being stable and he not it makes the relationship almost impossible.
I'm sorry for your pain also. I am glad that the holidays are almost over.
Such as Alanon and there are a couple others.. I can`t remember the names right now but they could really be helpful to you..
They even have them on-line if you can`t get to them physically but they are always better f2f...
Wishing you better days ahead. You deserve it. We all do!
You read the truth so now say to yourself I deserve better and don't settle for less.
Your moving forward so keep heading in that direction!
We can't go back and change the past, so can only look to the future. You have everything within you it takes to make a good life for yourself if you choose to do so.
I agree, be gentle with yourself and find the strength to let go so you can be open to all the good that is waiting for you.

Part of me will always wonder, but when I look back, I know that I more than made up for what I had done in the distant past. Mind you, he also had a revenge affair.....but still tried to blame me when he left me for an alcoholic!
If I had known then what I know now, I would have walked away realizing my affair would never really be forgiven. Instead, wasted another 18 years of my life trying to make up for it just to be devasted with him leaving me for someone else.
I have to make myself be objective of our situation and realize it will never work because as an alcoholic, my ex cannot love me like I deserve to be loved.
