It's funny,, you or maybe just me,, can't wait for that phone call,, you know the one,, "mom,, I'm done,, I want to come home to my family,,," well got the phone call,, no was not exactly the nice one I dreamed about,,, lets see,,, I ruined her beep in life,, I'm a beep b$%,,thank God I'm better place then when I was,, cause I would probably had a nervous break down,, my respounse back
Was,,, I'm so glad you called to let me know your alive,, unfortunately your adjectives your using on me,, don't match who I am,,,
Love you so much,,, when your ready to come home,,,let me know,,,mom if you love me,, send me 200 for Christmas ,, yep love you so much the 200 will be waiting for you when come home sober,,, click ,,yep guess that's not what she wanted to hear,,

So for today yea,,,she is alive,,, the light of hope is still shining

In the past I would be in complete melt down,, today,,, I've come along way,,, while I was being calked all those names,, the faces of blue, dmatt, marge. Dee, Kim,,janilor, Katrina ran acrossed me,, bring it on,, addict ,, I have an army behind me,,,

Oh it feels so good to dance in the rain,,, with my big girl pants on,,

One day my daughter will return,,,

I've had the same conversation with my AD at least 20 times. Feels good to hang up the phone and not give them the option to continue with their continuous bashing. At least you know she's ok, and for that I'm happy for you.

I have always been impressed by the way you kept your hope for your daughter alive and strong, even when you hadn't heard from her for ages, and had no idea where she was. Just waiting for that phone call from her... I am truly sorry that it was so unpleasant when she finally called you. At least there is the relief of knowing she is alive. Your response to her was brilliant! Awesome boundary setting!! Keep on dancing in the rain!

Kim your strength courage and faith are so strong and I admire you so much for your wisdom on this journey. I wish for you that some day (very soon ) you will receive the phone call you have been waiting for. The one that says I want to come home mom I have had enough of this life. I pray for all those on this journey we don't want to be on but since we are I am glad we all have each other. God bless love ya Dee

I'm sorry the phone call wasn't the one you wanted but your right at least you know she's alive. You are a really strong person for handling it the way you did, I think I would have had that nervous breakdown. Thanks for sharing .

She was mad because you didn't buy into her sending $200 for her Christmas present. Sad, but hopefully one day she will get her life together. At least you did get to hear her voice, she didn't say what you would of wanted her to say, but still a small relief.
