I hear it. I liked the peace when our son was not living here, but I have to say with him here now, and now that I know WHAT to look for, I can check him, see what is going on in his life, even though it is only for a short time frame, I can get a 'grip' on where he is at in his battle.

I LOVE my peace and quiet, I use to HATE being alone, but now, I relish in it...LOL...

Enjoy it, embrace it and prayers are with you and your family and your son!

Thank you guys soooo much I wish we all had the peace and serenity I had last night and praying someday we ALL will! Everyones support and caring has helped me so much I am very grateful to you all. I like the " one day at a time " rule it seems so less overwhelming I think I'm starting to get it ! PEACE to all of us. Love, Dee

I hear it, I wasn't doing the 'one day at a time' rule and it was drowning me, so I'm doing the same thing and feel more at peace.

I had to drop the 'suspicion' and do more of a 'checking in'....and I feel much better....
