My spouse had a long history with ovarian cysts, when we had our second child she had a partial hysterectimy but the doctor left part of one ovary so that she would not have to take hormones. She has been complaining about pain in her side for a few weeks, we went to the doctor a few days ago and he had an ultrasound performed. Today they doctor called and said her ovary was enlarged and had some sort of blood filled cyst on it and referred her to a surgion to discuss options for removal.

She just got her 60 keytag for sobriety from pain pill addiction yesterday, 39 of those 60 days were in rehab.......I know she will be advised to take pain medication after the procedure if one is done.......I hate that this is happening so soon after she has gotten clean. I know an addict will deal with this type thing all their lives, but I wish more time had passed, I am afraid she is not strong enough yet to not have severe cravings if she takes them again and has to stop. Just venting.....but if anyone has been through something similar I would love to hear your advice. I hope you all have a great day, God bless.
