finally finally FINALLY i am getting the hang of this detachment thing.
and aahhhhh the relief!!!! I don't have to even get up to find the missing spatula, no matter how loud he grouses (code for curses lol). if he is OCDing, i can just relax knowing it is not my issue, nor is my job to soothe his anxiety (he refuses to take his meds?????)
i simply quietly, non dramatically remove myself from what ever uncomfortable interaction that may occur. i am committed to ending the dialog. and as an added bonus, a significant lessening of GUILT and ANXIETY.
