Today Matt turns 20 years old. His birthdays gave become such milestones for me even more so than when he was a little boy. As so many of you know what we have been through I was pretty sure at the time we would never see this day. So I just want to take the time to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all if you on here who have helped me in any way to learn about addiction and what to do and more importantly what not to do to feed into his addiction. I am proud to say that he has not done heroin in nearly 14 months and even though he has slipped up a couple times with an other substance he is trying I see big difference in him. I don't know what tomorrow may bring but I am hopeful that it will be ok. So thank you all for your support throughout the last two years words can not express my gratitude. A special thank you to God for letting me have my son still here to celebrate his 20 th birthday!! Big Hugs Dee.
