well we had our first bump since Justin has been home. We had to be at a soccer tournament all day Saturday and Sunday with our little boy and Justin decided he did not want to go. I did not want to make him as crowds of people make him so anxious so I allowed him to stay home alone. Well he was not there when we returned Saturday night and never came home all night. I worried a fair amount but my husband told me he had talked to Justin about a girl and he said he was pretty sure thats where he would be. Still no phone call no note no nothing!
The next day we went back out to the soccer tournament. I was not freaked out because this has happened a million times before and he is an addict. I was surprised because he had been doing so great and I did not see it coming so soon. Well that day my older daughter got on FB found her brother and ripped him a new one. by the time we got home Sunday night he was back home. He had done his laundry, cleaned the house and was working out. He apoligized for not telling us and for making us upset and worried. he did not seem like he had used but we will never know for sure. He got up this morning and went to work with my husband and all appears fine. He said he realized he needed to work on himself and not try to get with a girl at this time in his life. He has had almost no girls in his life and I'm almost relieved that he was intersted in a girl. I know that must be wrong but to me that seems like normal behavior kind of sort of. My thing was I did not freak out and my daughter who does not live with us or even in our same town anymore is furious with him and wants me to be the same way... I feel like hes going to make tons of mistakes and he has the maturity of a 12 year old and twelve year olds screw up. I did explain to him why I was so worried and we talked about him missing his meds and how that was just not going to be ok and he promised not to do it again and we moved on. any thoughts on this?
