I just heard on the news,, that some girl sued her parents,, for 650$ a week in child support, her future college paid for,, all because she could not follow house rules,,, nice try,,, first off,,, no way would any of my kids would of even thought of doing such a thing,, why,, because I demand respect,, but also give them respect,, what they should of try along time ago,, when this spoiled out of controlled child felt the need to embarrass her parents,, uhm,, maybe a good old fashion spanking would of done something,,,
I hope I didn't offend anyone,, but this is totally why our world is so messed up,,, perhaps instead of whispering behind parent's back, when actually discipline their child,, or this new way of parenting that parents insisted that reasoning,, with a small child is the answer,,, shoot,,, I'm the parent your the child,,, I believe in getting down to their size, never point a finger at them,, and always telling them I love them,,,
big shout to her parents,, for sticking to their ground,,, never in my life have I've ever heard of such a gross thing,, as sueing your parents,,,,

This bothers me for a couple of reasons: this spoiled, entitled child feels that her parents "owe" her a private HS education and a college education. These are gifts that parents offer their children!! If she would have followed the house rules, she might have been ale to continue to receive these gifts. It also bothers me that this case even reached a court room! Really?? Is this how we are using our tax dollars??
I also commend her parents for setting rules / boundaries, sticking to them, and truly standing up for their family / other children. They must be incredibly strong people.....kudos to them!
