If she is hungry,,, then she would eat whatever you bring her,,, and of course her wallet was stolen,,,,, I had to tell my addict that if she can find dope,, then dhs can find food!!,,, my only regrets really wish I would of done this a while ago ,,,,, UHm,,, she is working, has a room to rent,,, of guess what she has not used in 3 weeks,,, although she is still mad,,, that I would not give in,,,, she knows I never gave up!!!

Seizures must be the thing for addicts to get attention,,,, cause really if they were having seizures pretty sure they would have a hard time texting,,, I don't know,,, just saying though

I'm sorry about your brother. Any way you can get hold of him? Of the person that notified you?

My parents have been and still are going through the whole "I don't have food", "my wallet was stolen" etc ordeal. It used to break my heart, especially when he was saying that he needs money to buy food for the baby. Apparently, he was telling the truth, he did need money for baby food, but somehow despite the constant flow of bank deposits, the baby was kept underfed. Probably still is. Nothing we can do about it, unfortunately.

I'm telling you this cause it might be true that your sister needs money for food. However, you know that the moment she gets her hands on any ammount of money she's going to use it up. You might as well buy her some food, if you feel OK about it, but that's as far as you should go Elliepp..

Letting your dad know depends on how you think he's going to react. If he is an enabler, it might be better he doesn't know. If he can handle it, you can always share..

When you talk with your sister, remind her that she can get out of the mess and that you care for her..

Thank you, Its so hard having two siblings as addicts. My brother currently is clean and will get better minus the seizures. My sister I know is lying to me. She works in a huge firm, has an aparetment and my Dad has daily contact with her so I know she isn't starving. I would only call him to find out if there was some sort of set back this week so I have a better handle on what angle she is pulling. She has a roomate so I know there is food there. She is calling me at noon to talk. Wish me luck.

From what you're saying, it's just manipulation. Somehow, it's relieving that she was just manipulating you. Please don't take it the wrong way, it's just good to know that she is not actually starving out in the streets. Again, I mean no offense..

It's also good to know that your brother is clean.

No offense taken ever I value everyone's imput. Naturally she called an hour late so we haven't spoken because I was in a meeting. While it pains me to see her upset and she says she is clean, the trust has been broken and I will not give her money.

Her roomate is not an addict, just apparently thinks its weird that my sister sits on a couch and hasn't been going out. The sad part is how people are so judgemental when someone is trying to get clean. My sister said her roomate wants her out of the apartment this weekend and my sister said why can't people give me a chance I am trying to get better. Kills me. :(

I am sorry too that you have both your siblings going thought this. I would simply ask if you are staring I would be more than happy to drop off some food for you, is that what you are asking? And see how she responds. Your thoughts are probably in track, nod your gut is correct. Stay strong and stay committed to your boundaries,
