It is so hard to deal with; we only want what's best for them and in the meantime we are so worried about them. Sadly we can't make them sober.
I work in health care, tell the nurse or ask to speak to the Social Worker, they can and will offer treatment options. If it comes from someone else it might work. You can also request the nurse and Social Worker keep what you folds them confidential.
Other than that keep praying and take care of yourself. Hugs.

Hard, but it could be kind of liberating....
sometimes I wonder if the real person in them is hoping we can stay strong for when/if they are released from the grip/compulsion...??
My belief is only with God's help.
