Alright , so i ranted about the stupid argument already, but, during my therapy session i suddenly realized this:
i have been very good about walking away from conversations and /or arguments that are not constructive and i have been learning to be "detached' from his handling of meds (aka DOC) even though in this particular fight i allowed him to push, push push my buttons and turn me back into the dragon lady for 30 minutes or so
I REALIZED THAT HE IS NO WHERE NEAR TO RECOVERY OR OWNING HIS SHIT. SO THAT ARGUMENT HAD A POSITIVE PURPOSE.
he is still playing me, i called him on it. he is pissed and is punishing me by sleeping and the silent treatment LOL .LOL because it is like a vacation. LOL because i have fun plans with my "crazy" friends almost each night this week.

we can only do the best we know how at the time. Glad you have seen another layer peeled away, and that you are going to have a good time this week.
Owning your crap is a big part of the 12 steps used in AA...That is when my son learned it wasn't about him drinking, it was about what he was trying to cover up by drinking.

thanks Blue violet... agreed, i think i saw that instead of going through a cleaning up process he is trying to go around it. it is not going to work. i am working hard now on the grieving process of relieving myself of all responsibility for his mess. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
