I think my kids both struggle with issues at times, and they are learning to navigate in this tough, tough world.
He knows what to do. He is doing it. He messed up on bills, not on drugs, so that keeps it in perspective for me. Read my journal on my son's latest fiasco with bills. Geeze. These kids. I have earned every grey hair on my head. The great thing in AA or NA is they learn accountablilty too. I am thrilled with some of my son's friends, amazed that they ever had a problem and saddened that only a few (proportionately) make it to meetings at all.
So glad you have had so many visits lately, I am jealous.

Dee,, now in ten years,, your still helping him out,, I would have to go there and kick your butt,, that I believe is enabling,,,, of course if you continue to see a pattern of in paid bills,, and not being responsible I would be concerned,, but shoot that boy has been working on the hardest thing of his life,,,, sober living,,, 14months is a giant milestone,, deffinetly needs to be rewarded for that,,,,,your supporting sobriety,
