this is one of those WTF moments...... i bought 2 magazines a few days ago to keep in my beach bag, but never put them in. they were sitting on the chair where i keep my purse , etc. this morning i decided to bring them to work and they were gone. today was paper recycle pickup and the can , still full, was at the curb. i found the two magazines at the bottom of the bin, still in good shape , so i grabbed them and off to work i go. at coffee break time i open up Woman"s Day and out falls a pharmacy bag torn into little pieces!!!!! included in this confetti is the blerb re: the medication, the extra sticker, and the receipt. yup! you guessed...oxy..... ordered and filled yesterday (at 12:43:04 pm) so..... i lost my mind for about a half an hour. i puzzle pieced the bits together and FAXED it to my husband at home.. then i called and when he kept defending his need for these pills and how he wasn't looking for a refill and how he would have no problem stopping blah blah blah i hung up and went on with my work day because what other choice did i have?
about 30 minutes later i took a deep breath and realized i actually felt like a HUGE weight had been lifted from my soul and i surprisingly had a pleasant day.
i frightened the bejeezus out of hubby though who ran immediately to his therapist, who found him an AA sponser and he is currently at a meeting.
ah the peace of a house with him gone for a few hours! 24 year old son surprised visit. and 27 year old hanging out with us also. turned out to be a good day anyway.
