Hi, i just joined here a few minutes ago and it almost brings me to tears realizing how many other people are feeling just the way i do right now. I met my husband at a rough time in my life when i was quite depressed and using alcohol to avoid dealing with my problems. When i met him he had just been released from jail for the 3rd or 4th time and i also knew that he had struggled with drug addiction since his dad had gotten sick with cancer when he was 16 (he was 19 when i met him) We were both able to become better people with each others support and have since gotten married, held good jobs, had 2 beautiful boys and been very happy. Over about the last 6 months my husband has struggled with a number of health problems including severe carpel tunnel in both wrists, golfers and tennis elbow, a frequently dislocated shoulder due to a diving injury, spine deterioration, sever neck and head aches, etc. We do not have an actual diagnosis for him yet. He has been off work since the end of oct. and in this time has become very depressed almost to the point of being suicidal and because he has been prescribed some of the acutal drugs he was addicted to, he has had some very scary overdoses and episodes. I have admited him to the hospital and have had to take my boys and leave on occasion. It just keeps happening over and over and until today i couldn't even find anyone to relate to what i was going through. Thank you all for listening, i don't know what to do at all, especially with 2 young kids at home. I'm very scared and stressed all the time.
