I am finding myself angry all of the time. Not only with my addicted mother but with almost everyone around me. The only people I find myself wanting to be around at all are my children. I am realizing I am a better friend to my friends than my friends are to me. I am a better sibling than my siblings are to me (minus my sister). She is the only other person in my life that isn't all take and no give. I can depend on her as much as she depends on me. She needs me a lot more but at least I know when the time comes I can call her and say can you pick up one of my kids and not hear excuses. My mom is all take. She is at my house once again and again we are arguing. Her entitled mentality works my nerves. She has a birthday coming up and I end up giving her gift early because we were going somewhere and she had no money. Where we were going is 3 1/2 hours from my house 4 from hers. She wanted to get high the night before and wouldn't come stay at my house which meant I had to go 30 min the opposite way to get her and 30 min back my way which added a hour to my drive. That night same thing she didn't want to stay. Two days later she doesn't want to be alone, so guess what she is at my house. Now I have to leave home 30 minutes early to take her home before I go to work and I get home 45 minutes later to start homework. Everything is always about her.
