I am so so sorry !!! I hate this I will never get used to hearing this no matter how many times I have heard it before. Another young life stolen by the devil addiction.prayers to all that knew and loved this poor young man may he rest in peace. Dee

so sorry. Out of the 25 men in my son's sober living, 8 are dead and the rest are using, except for him....why? no idea. But he lost his roommate too.

He just has to make it all make him stronger...not follow their lead.
SO sorry for his loss. so young, and such a waste.

His rehab says only 3% make it out without relapsing or dying. This is two out of 40 in 30 days. :(

I'm so sorry for your pain. I lost a nephew to a heroin overdose last year. The pain is unimaginable, I will keep you all in my prayers. I will say a special prayer for your son. I hate this disease!!!

Thoughts and prayer's for another lost soul. As Dee said, hearing this something we can't ever get used to. I believe it reminds us of ur own loved one's mortality and the reality of their disease. Let's join our collective hearts and pray for those that have passed, the families in mourning, our addict family members who continue down the path of self destruction and darkness and are dying, as well as the Family Members who are dying with them a slow and painful death.

I'm so sorry myself. This guy was young and clean for about 7 months. He relapsed. The scary part about being clean and then relapsing is they think they can use the same amount they did before recovery.

Tomorrow is his wake. My son will be there viewing the guy who only a few days ago was his roommate. To my son this just became real. Hit him hard. Tomorrow will be harder.

I just want to say that I know I'm not the mushy let me say what you want to hear poster. I say what you need to hear to try to help those new and struggling. I still struggle myself. I still make very hard decisions and came here for support in those decisions

I've now been witness to more od's then I ever thought in my life I would be. My best friend of 33 years passed away less then two years ago. I take this disease of addiction very serious. I don't know it all but I've been thru it all.

I hate this and I hate what it's done to us all. Appreciate the prayers
