Well... for the babies sake. I would definintely tell her parents. I know you don't want to, but you might also think of reporting her to Child Protective Services. You might also think about reporting her to the police. What she does to herself is her own business, and you cannot control that - but when she endangers the life of a child, that is something totally different.

Protect the child! Imagine how you would feel if something happened to the child because of this user's behavior, and then do what you need to do.

call child services on her! you can call annomous so she never knows it was you that called. in so many cases its the child that suffers because of the parents decisions. children have no control over what happens to them, they need adults to protect them and it sounds like in this case the mother isnt doing a very god job at it. do what you have to do to protect him!

my husband is a drug addict and i left him alomost 3 months ago because of it. being with him i have met so many kids (including my step daughter, at age 7 she knew how to roll a blunt) that have drug addicts as parents and suffer neglect ect... it breaks my heart to know that she said her child was the worst mistake she ever made! a baby is never a mistake, they are all blessings! in my opinion this child needs taken away from his mother who doesnt want her son anyway! (from what it sounds like) he deserves a mother that wants him and will do whatever they have to in order to keep him out of harms way.

i hope i wasnt to harsh, i just dont want anything to happen to your nephew! im very touchy when it comes to addicts and their kids because of my step daughter and husband. my husband has 3 kids from 3 differant women and treats all of the kids like they dont matter. im just glad our daughter is only a yr old and doesnt see that her father doesnt care. good luck and stay strong! hugs to you!!!

Call her parents ..The baby needs to be protected .. Don't cal the police ...Maybe her parents can help .& please don't call Child protected services ..they will take the baby from all of them ..... Just protect that baby ...Hope it all works out ............

my great aunt is going through a similar situation with her grandchild, children services took her away from from the parents and my great aunt is getting custody. if the grandparents are suitable they will get him.

Parents first. And see their reaction. If they seem to blow you off, then you can call Child Protective Services. Don't involve them unless you feel the parents will do nothing. If she doesn't want the child, maybe it's for the best if she loses him/her. Don't the parents wonder why she flipped a car? Doesn't like they are too involved either.
