This afternoon will be my first marriage counseling session with my AH. He has been clean for 5 weeks today.
We are suppose to start addressing the financial mess that we are currently in. You know, no savings any more, maxed out credit cards, still haven't done the taxes.....

Things will only get better if he can remain sober.
Remember...you can't fix everything in one day.....so breathe...your taking the first step.
I would suggest going to the library and reading the book Financial Peace, by Dave Ramsey...he is christian based, but if you are, or not, the information is sound.
at one point I had the moneypit for a house and I used his book to dig us out of a deep hole.
