Today is my beautiful grandson's 2nd birthday and he can't be with his Mommy because she is in the hospital once again. I am very thankful that she is getting the help that she needs, she was also excepted into another treatment facility on Monday that will work with her more. I have been down this road so many times with her so I am trying to stay positive, I hope she will do this for her son as well as herself because I am not going to let her move back home unless I see some improvemet.
I am just sad today because my daughter should be with her little boy and I'm mad because if she tried harder she would be. I can't be with him today because I'm not feeling well emotionally or physically but I called him this morning and sang Happy Birthday to him, he giggled and then asked for Mom which broke my heart.he gave me lot's of kisses on the phone so he made my day.When I'm feeling better I am going to take him one day this week. Please keep my daughter in your prayers. Thank you all.

Hugs to you. rest. He is so little, better that she deal with this all now. He is smiling and giggling. focus on that.

Sorry you're having a hard time. Plz. try to focus on the positives-your little grandson is safe & happy & it sounds like your daug. is trying to get help. Prayers & hugs.

happy birthday little man! Pat, I got to see my 1 year old grandson close to his birthday, my son did not see his own son.. not sure where he is at this time... I get the "if they tried harder" thing... I truly thought that having a baby would be the catalyst for change for my son... guess not

Happy Birthday to that little boy, who has so many people that love him. Sadly his Mom can't be with him, but he is at an age, that hopefully in the future he will not 'remember' the circumstances and she can get clean and get back on that Mommy treadmill instead of the demon treadmill. I will keep her in my prayers and you as well.

but YOU Patnard, need to focus on YOU! YOU have a life too! YOU have to take care of you for that lil boys' sake.

Just keep that giggle in your mind when you start heading down the 'dark hole'....that will bring you the light you need for you!

Take care of you, for noone else will.....

Thank you all for your thoughts, I am trying to rest and stay psitive. I still haven't gotten the strength to go home yet, I just don't want to be alone. Even though my D-N-L is upstairs we still are not speaking, she refuses to admit that she attacked me and insists that I provoked the fight. I called to speak to my grandkids the other day, she did let me talk to them for about 1 minute, then my grand daughter said Nana can you call back Mommy needs to use the phone, of course when I called back it went right into voicemail and I haven't spoken to them since. They were invited to my neices for Easter but she tld her she wasn't sure what they were gooing to do, I doubt she will show up because she knows that everyone knows what happened betwee us. I'm going to try and have a nice day though and celebrate with the rest of my family. Wishing you all a Happy Easter and a wonderful day.
