I just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. This message board was the very first one I joined 3 years ago and in that time I have met so many amazing moms. I don't come here much anymore but any sanity that I own was created in this group. I am very active on Facebook both the TAMs page and the NC chapter of TAMS (the addicts mom) I'm a really visual person and on FB I have faces with names and that's how I can keep all my friends straight. My Justin is in Court today awaiting sentencing, this is probably his 12 or 13th time and this time he is begging the judge to order him to treatment. He has been in and out of treatment several times but always relapses and then steals to support his habit, we have very minimal contact as I have run out of words, advice, all I can tell him is I love you and can only support you while in treatment. My life is going along rather nicely despite the fact that my son is incarcerated. I go to many meetings I am working the steps I am actually about to start up my very own support book and I'm really excited. I may never be able to save my own son but I do have a wealth of information and support I can offer others in need. My life no longer revolves around my addict it revolves around my family, my career my wants and needs and I refuse to feel guilty. I did all I could for my son and its on him to fight for his own survival. I hope all my long lost friends here are doing well. I think so fondly of this group and always will.
