As some of you know my story,, I am a proud mother of four kids, well five ( Ava, my granddaughter) one that happens to be a herion addict,, after many attempts of fixing her( which was not working) I had to surrender and allow her to find her way( she is still searching, ) during this time I could of crawled in that big hole,, and be depressed and wait for her return,, well I choose to take that energy and take it out of my box,, and started mentoring in the jail,, for a reason unknown to me kept upping me in that direction,, I do believe it was my higher power ( which mine is God), I put my big girl pants on,, and started this journey not exactly knowing what the road would be like( I'm a basic , not a out of the box kinda of girl),,,my reaching out to others,, was my focus,, I figured if at the moment my daughter was unreachable, that perhaps someone would grab my hand,,, the first time going was a bit scarey not even sure who I was going to meet( one girl first time,, ok,, we talked,, well I let her talk,, oh boy ) the second time not sure if anyone would accept me,, because I am a outsider waiting on them to trust me,,, slowly 20min into my hour and half there three girls appeared,, just smiled of course they wanted to know what my motive was?,, I was a little nervous( not going to lie,, I was scared crapless,, I'm so far from the jail type),,, anywhoo 5x later ( today),,, I had 15 girls,,, we chatted,, I told them why I am here,, and each and everyone said,,, I wish my parents set that boundary,, really I said,, even though I have no idea where she is,,, they said yes,,she may hate you know,, but thank you later,, every one of them said,,, if only they would stop giving into us,,,,, today I left peaceful,, got in my car and knew, that I made the right decsion sticking by my boundary,,accourding to my 15 new friends ,,, I am a good mom,, and my daughter does love me

This experience I want to share with you,, because I could of crawled in a hole,,, but I choose to reach out,,, and I may be waiting for my daughter( which I will be standing with open arms ) but I have 15 new girls that call me "momma k",,,
It truly is not about the storm, but the ability to dance in the rain,, and for today,,, I am shaking what my momma gave me!

Lesson I learned,,, from 15 of the best addics,( my new daughters),, quit giving in to them,,, you can't make them stop!!!
