First off, I'm fine,, unfortunately I wish I coukd say that a lighting bolt struck my addict, and she decided that there are other things better then heroin. I still believe where there is life, there is hope,,, until the addiction becomes worse then the pleasure if the drug, she has no desire to quit,,,, I do keep reaching to her about getting help,, going back to rehap,, I will do anything for her, during her recovery ,, I have not turned my back, stepping a side,,, there is nothing that can be done, until she chooses ,,

Just keep praying ,,,,

You're a good person. And a great mother. I'm sorry all you can really do is wait it out. That's one of the hardest parts.

Thanks tryinghard,,, your right the waiting is probably the most difficult ,, I do have my addicts 5year old , that keeps me motivated , and busy,, has well as three other kids, and a husband that keep my mind occupied,,,, you would think that 6months in jail ,, 2 rehaps that she would want to be clean,, and that fact of the endless rewards she earns for being clean,,,,

my son was arresteed 3 times, lost his license, lost his insurance,jail time, probation, many times things would happen and i would think this is now the bottom, now he will get help. it is soooo hard to watch them self destruct when you know the answer for them and they will not accept it.
the road has been so long for you.....praying for you today and your family and always your daughter.

Glad you are handling this. Not easy. The fact that she tries still gives us hope. I too, couldn't believe my kid would choose to go back to using after 6 months in jail...but that is addiction.
Stay strong. I believe it will happen. She has seen she can live sober.

I'm glad your fine, its hard and an be depressing how well I know. I hope your daughter decides sooner then later to get help, but for now that's her choice.
