Two years ago, my husband kissed me goodbye, went to work and a few hours later put a gun to his heart. I miss him so much. I have come along way, thanks to family, friends and a good counselor. At the time of his death, I was fighting for my life with stage 4 cancer, my mother had died unexpectedly a few weeks earlier, I was raising two small grandchildren.
Now, I am in remission, I have adopted my two grandchildren and have begun dating. It's not the same, I can say life is good. I wish he were here but the pain, tears are fewer.
