IAM NEW THIS GROUP AND WHEN THE STRESS GETS REALY BAD I GET THESE RACING IN MY HEAD AND IT CAUSES ME TO CUT OR OVER DOSE I ALSO HAVE HAD THOUGHT LATLY ABOUT GETTING A GUN TO MY HEAD AND PULLING TRIGGERING OR JUMPING OFF SOME BUILDING SO I CAN JUST FEEL FREE I NEED LOTS OF HELP AND SUPPORT I WAS IN CONSOLING BUT FREAKED OUT CAUSE I CUT SO I DIDN'T GO BACK

you need to try a different consoling please talk to someone close or even call a hot line. i can relate to racing thoughts as well but you really don't want to hurt yourself, you want help and that's a good step. Just keep reaching out and you'll find the strength to make it through this. stay strong, your worth it. You'll find lots of support here. take care. (((HUGS)))

This is nothing to play around with. As i recently posted elsewhere about my brother's suicide, it fucks up the lives of everyone around you.
My family was shattered & never recovered, and his 4 closest friends, only 1 has been able to lead a healthy life.
It fucks EVERYONE up.
The solution isn't suicide, but patience. Endure the suffering, in the days weeks, months, and especially he years to come, you'll find what you're going through actually brightens the life that you will have. No bullshit, I promie.

You need to be around someone as much as you possibly can be! Also try getting to a therapist so that they can help you figure out what you need to do to stop the trigger, you need to find emotional resolve.

Do you have any pets? Get some if you can, cats and dogs need owners bad. They are overfilling the humane societies in all states everywhere they need help!

my 29 yr. old son died by suicide three months ago....it has been the most horrific pain for our family. I am never going to be the same. I miss him every minute of every day. please read my journal to get the real feelings of how this affects everyone, especially a mother. You know you need help just by being on this site and posting. Please help yourself with proper counseling and medications....I know that finding the right therapist is difficult but start somewhere. Our middle daughter cuts and has BPD. We are dealing with this on top of our grief. I am a Christian and take comfort in my faith. I hope you have God to lean on during this time. Love and peace to you, Dale, Brandon\'s Mom.

My husband killed himself a month ago. He had no idea how many people it would hurt. I am still in shock and can\'t believe it happened. We loved each other so much but he was bipolar and just didn\'t give the medicine a chance to work. Please get help. I will never be the same...I am so thankful I have my faith in God to help me get through it....
