Hi all most of you have probely read my novel. I am at so many different phases, now trying to get the monies together to file for divorce. I fell like I am breaking my vows as crazy as that sounds. I loved and love my wife even though what she did, (attempt). I go emotional up and down, angry to sad. I am very emotional messed up,yet focused if that makes sense. I can focus on what I have to do, but getting there....well hard to remember some of the time.
I have my 16 year old son in 3 counsler programs, group,by him self for the weeks events, and trama for the deep down issues, and me too.We are close, very close. He just wants me to divorcer her and he never wants to see her again. I hurts to think she did this to her son. It just tears me up inside. She has managed to convince all that were there, that its me, I am to blame. I asked her tues why did she do it, why did she attempt and she told me ... because of me I am to blame. I know thats not true but one can not feel hurt by that.
My son and I have visions , nightmares, panic still from thanksgiving, (her attempt) its just horriable. Now her selfish act goes on. She goes to my oldest sons house, started smoking again and drinking, "so what" is what we get. My oldest son is a recovering herion addic, so he is ball less to say anything. He still has not called the youngest and shee hows he is doing well... either has anyone else. She has removed my POA as if I am goinfg to screw her over, slagged me down, tried to file a domestic violance charges and hwen there was no case, she was pissed. She lies and there is deciet.
We were the only ones at the hospital every day or twice a day...no one went, now everyone is a god sent and I we are crap.. I dont get it.. shame, dont care?? cant face it?? back on the road to self distruction??.
Iam fear full when I file for divorce that she might do herself in, or come after me (police attorneys ) have told me to plan it and leave the house with my son pets until I can change the locks and get her out.
all this , a year and a half ago we seem to be going just fine, now its utter hell, and plays on the mind as well.

I think you should take the advice of your lawyers and the cops in terms of protecting yourself, your son and your pets. This might mean relocating, hard on a child/teen but better than an outright scene or worse (God forbid). I wouldn't worry WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS. This is your life, your younger son's life. Protecting him at this point is what you are doing and you're doing an excellent job, Dad, God bless you for it. Keep going.
