My brother committed suicide this past february and it took me a while but i am finally reaching out for help in dealing with this. i recently ordered two books off the internet about suicide called "night falls fast: understanding suicide" and "silent grief" has anyone read these books and if so were they helpful?
"Grieving a Suicide" by Albert Hsu whose father committed suicide. I found the book to have too much of a religious tone. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I think for me, it was too soon after my husband's death,and because the death tested my faith, I just wasn't ready to hear about God.
The second was "No Time to Say Goodbye" By Carla Fine, which is written by a woman whose husband committed suicide. This book was good, and gave a lot of different perspectives from other people who had lost various people to suicide. Although I didn't find any answers that I was hoping for.
