Esophageal Cancer Support Group

Esophageal cancer is malignancy of the esophagus. There are various subtypes. Esophageal tumors usually lead to dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), pain and other symptoms, and is diagnosed with biopsy. Small and localized tumors are treated with surgery, and advanced tumors are treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or combinations.

Fred - I hope you and your family are safe from this devastating weather that is slamming Alabama - you are in my prayers to be safe. Not sure how we're going to fare here in Atlanta but keeping fingers crossed - ok the thunder and lightning have just started...... :(

To anyone else out there who is in this terrible weather path please be safe and take care.

Thanks! We're all OK, with little damage where we live. I think the monster tornado missed us by 1/2 mile. But, wow,did it tear up other parts of the city!!!! Atlanta appears to be OK, from what I can tell.

I appreciate your concern. [Did I ever mention that we used to live in Woodstock GA (1984-1990)? I grew up on Allatoona lake.]

Tomorrow begins the cleanup in earnest. We'll do what we can to help.

There is a subdivision just west of the Home Depot on the left (just can't remember the name). You are right. It is a small world....
