Has anyone ever felt this way. I woke up this morning and I didn't know what was going on or what day it was my husband said that I was having a seizure last night in bed. thank god it happened there and not in public or anywhere where I might have fallen. I just didn't know why I still feel so out of it. I don't like it. I have complex partial seizures and take zonegran at night. I go to my dr on Friday im going to have to tell him that my nightly dose of zonegran is not working maybe he can switch me or something I don't know. I hate feeling foggy.
Yes- This has happened to me with every seizure I have had and it's one of the ways I can tell I've had one. I'm sorry this happened to you. You are very lucky you have a husband who knows what's happening and didn't panic either.
I'm not familiar with zonegran. I know the feeling and it's a good thing you are seeing the doctor. What did your Dr. say? Since the same thing has happened to me, I have to see a specialist and have been switching one of my meds which isn't easy to do either.

I'm glad you spoke to your Dr. I have to try and call the specialist again. I' not looking forward to this at all. I have been coming off one med for a year and now have to continue coming off another one while replacing it for another one. I agree with you, it throws my body into a complete tailspin. There are very few people who really know what I feel because most of them have no idea what I go through. If they can't see it they don't believe it. Therefore I must be making it up or I never feel good or better yet...I'm crazy! My Dr. has told me these reactions are completely normal from those who live outside the world from those of us who live trapped within it. I'd rather keep to myself than deal with their judgements.
No one wants to switch meds. However, when they stop working it creates other problems. I wish you the best of luck and let me know how it goes for you! I'm always here for you!
