I'm not sure what Trileptal is exactly but I know Keppra and it can change weight as it can change your appetite. Is that all you are taking? hat's a pretty significant weight loss. What has your doctor said about it? Anything? It should be brought to the attention of the doctor and you should also be paying attention to your appetite and making sure you are eating a good balance of food. A nutritionist is also some one to consult. I take Keppra and Topamax and both are known to change weight. I lost a lot of weight but try hard to supplement my diet with vitamins and foods that will me protect my health in other ways. I hope this has helped.
Let me know how you are doing. Good luck!

Shopping for affordable clothes to Fit? I had to turn to Goodwill, Salvation Army & other second hand clothes stores. Hubby started me on Smoothies when Carnation got to expensive. It is a blended mix of fruit/veggies (Fresh Spinach & sometimes carrots) Flax Seed & almond milk (I Think regular milk would work to, but the almond milk has more vitamins) Use your Search Tool for More recipes. :) Sounds Gross?? Believe me it looks gross! But, tastes sooo Good! :)
OK, you are going Off meds & switching to another. Advice: Start a Daily Journal! Include foods/bevs you consume, sleep patterns, activities (exercise, TV, comp, video games) Note Time & how much of each of these. Also, keep track of your mthly's! Hormone fluctuations can be a Trigger for seizures, too. (Term: Catamenial Seizures) A Daily Journal will be a Powerful Tool for you & your DRS. You will note patterns that may be triggers for seizures. But, it may help find out what is causing weight loss, too. Keeping a Daily Journal is a Pain in the Bu*** but, worth it. Especially when dealing w/ DRS & Meds! Include Questions you may have for your DR, too. Ever have them days when you walk out of the DRs office & Then remember you forgot to ask something? :)
Hope this helped. HUGS!

I found out recently that I have thyroid problems and this is a reaction to it. After researching I have found a link to epilepsy and thyroid, but good luck getting a dr to acknowlege it.
Get your thyroids checked out! Ask for a T1 and T2 screening.
